Dr. Allen Coats Meadors is an American higher education educator and administrator who has worked in higher education in the United Arab Emirates and Northern Italy. He has served as president/chancellor of three US state universities. Penn State Altoona (Feb.1994-June 1999); University of North Carolina-Pembroke (July 1999-June 2009); and University of Central Arkansas (July 2009-September 2011). One of the few higher education professionals to be CEO of NCAA Division I, II and III institutions.
